WHAT PEOPLE SAYS ABOUT US

Highly Recommended

A restaurant beyond expectations, a very beautiful and typical place, a unique menu with local products, an extra star for macaroni with fresh mushrooms. The restaurant offers a nice tour along the farm, has a large playground, nearby there is a beautiful waterfall and located 100mt from Nelson Castle

Surprising!

I took dinner at the Casolare with friends; it was amazing. The structure fascinated me, surrounded by greenery with a beautiful waterfall just a stone's throw away. The food is delicious and the owners really friendly. I hope to return soon.

OUR WAY TO PREPARE PIZZA

Ancient Grains

For the preparation of our pizzas we use mother yeast and ancient grains from the Maniace and Bronte area.

Local products

Casolare delle Balze has decided to use only autochthonous grains of Sicily, to savor ancient tastes, made of intense flavors and aromas.

Sicily, The Granary of Italy

Until the second world war Sicily was considered the Granary of Italy. The island had sown with native grains, born and developed in symbiosis with the characteristic of the soil and climate. In this way a genetic heritage belonging to Mediterranean biodiversity created, whose seeds were kept and handed down from generation to generation.
